ที่มาและความสำคัญ
         ในปัจจุบันนี้เพื่อนของมนุษย์อีกชนิดหนึ่งก็คือ "สุนัข" และผู้คนก็นิยมเลี้ยงกันซึ่งสุนัขนั้นก็มีความจงรักภักดีต่อเจ้าของอย่างมาก
สุนัขนั้นมีหลากหลายสายพันธุ์ หลากหลายขนาด หลากหลายนิสัย เวลาที่เราต้องการที่จะได้สุนัขมาเลี้ยงเราควรคำนึงถึงจุดประสงค์ ความเหมาะสมทางด้านต่างๆ เพื่อไม่ให้เกิดปัญหาต่างๆตามมา
        ถึงแม้โลกจะก้าวหน้าไปมากหลายคนนั้นก็ยังไม่รู้จักวิธีการเลี้ยงสุนัขกันมากนัก ทำให้สุนัขที่หลายคนรักนัก ตายไปง่ายๆ โดยมีสาเหตุหลายอย่างคือ เช่น การดูรักษาโรคไม่ถูกวิธี  การไม่ดูแลเอาใจใส่ไม่ดีพอเพราะเกิดจากการไม่มีความรู้ความเข้าใจพอสำหรับการเลี้ยงสุนัข 
      ดังนั้นคณะผู้จัดทำจึงรวบรวมข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับการเลี้ยงดูสุนัขแต่ละสายพันธุ์ที่นิยม เพื่อเป็นประโยชน์แก่ผู้ที่ต้องการเลี้ยงดูสุนัขเพื่อให้เป็นประโยชน์แก่ผู้สนใจให้นำไปใช้ให้เกิดประโยชน์สูงสุด
 
      วัตถุประสงค์
 1.เพื่อเป็นประโยชน์แก่ผู้ที่ต้องการเลี้ยงสุนัข
 2.เพื่อเป็นความรู้ในการเพาะพันธุ์สุนัขที่จะนำความรู้ไปประกอบอาชีพ
 3.เพื่อสร้างสามัคคีในหมู่คณะ
 4.เพื่อเป็นการระมัดระวังในการดำเนินชีวิต
 5.เพื่อนำความรู้ไปใช้ในการเรียนการสอน
 
      ประโยชน์ที่ได้รับ
  1.ได้รู้จักการเพาะพันธุ์สุนัขให้ถูกวิธี
  2.ได้รู้จักการดุแลเอาใจใส่สุนัขให้ถูกวิธี
  3.ได้รู้จักลักษณะนิสัยของสุนัขพันธุ์ต่างๆ
   4.ได้รู้จักพันธุ์หรือชนิดของสุนัข
   5.ได้ทำให้เกิดความสามัคคีในหมู่คณะ
