สนับสนุนให้อุตสาหกรรมพัฒนาระบบคุณภาพและมาตรฐานการผลิตเพื่อแข่งขันในตลาดโลก โดยกำหนดให้ผู้ได้รับการ ส่งเสริม ทุกรายที่มีโครงการลงทุนตั้งแต่ 10 ล้านบาทขึ้นไป (ไม่รวมค่าที่ดินและทุนหมุนเวียน) ต้องดำเนินการให้ได้รับ ใบรับรองระบบ คุณภาพตามมาตรฐาน ISO 9000 หรือมาตรฐานสากลอื่นที่เทียบเท่า
