                ลองมาดูประเทศเพื่อนบ้านในอาเซียนของเราอีกประเทศกันบ้างดีกว่าค่ะ ซึ่งก็คือ ประเทศเวียดนาม  นั่นเอง โดยจะมีวันขึ้นปีใหม่แบบดั้งเดิมด้วยเช่นกันค่ะ ที่เรียกว่า ?ประเพณีตรุษญวน? หรือจะเรียกตามภาษาท้องถิ่นว่า ?เต๊ด เหงวียน ด๋าน? ซึ่งจะตรงกับวันที่ 23 เดือน 12 ตามปฏิทินจันทรคติของเวียดนาม โดยส่วนใหญ่จะเกิดขึ้นก่อนเทศกาลตรุษจีนเพียง 1 วันเท่านั้น

                ทางด้านของประเทศ อินโดนีเซีย จะมีวันขึ้นปีใหม่แบบชาวฮินดู ซึ่งจะเรียกตามภาษาท้องถิ่นว่า ?นีเยปิ? ที่มีความหมายว่า เข้าเงียบ จะไม่มีการประกอบพิธีใดๆทั้งสิ้น ไม่มีการเดินทาง ไม่มีการก่อไฟประกอบอาหาร งดการละเล่นสนุกสนานรื่นเริงทุกอย่าง โดยจะมีการทำบุญบูชาเทพต่างๆ กันตั้งแต่วันก่อนหน้า รวมทั้งมีการประกอบพิธีไล่สิ่งชั่วร้ายออกไปจากบ้านที่อยู่อาศัย ซึ่งการกระทำดังกล่าวนี้ประชากรที่อยู่บนเกาะบาหลีส่วนใหญ่จะปฏิบัติเป็นประจำทุกปี สำหรับวันที่แน่ชัดของเทศกาลนีเยปิ นี้ ไม่สามารถระบุได้แน่ชัด เพราะจะต้องยึดปฏิทินตามจันทรคติ จึงทำให้วันสำคัญต่างๆไม่ตรงกับปฏิทินสากล      

                สำหรับประเทศ มาเลเซีย และ สิงคโปร์ ส่วนใหญ่จะมีการยึดเอาเทศกาลวันตรุษจีนเป็นวันขึ้นปีใหม่อีกหนึ่งวัน เนื่องจากมาเลเซีย และ สิงคโปร์ มีประชากรเชื้อสายจีนอาศัยอยู่เป็นจำนวนมาก เช่นเดียวกันกับประเทศ  ฟิลิปปินส์ ที่มีการยึดวันขึ้นปีใหม่แบบชาวชาวคริสต์คาทอลิก นั้นเองค่ะ
