บทคัดย่อ
รายงานเล่มนี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของวิชาการศึกษาและสร้างองค์ความรู้ ระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย โดยการศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ดังนี้ 1)เพื่อให้ผู้ศึกษาทราบถึงประโยชน์และความสำคัญของการวางแผน และการเตรียมตัวในการเลือกและเข้าศึกษาต่อในระดับอุดมศึกษา 2)เพื่อให้ผู้ศึกษาสามารถนำความรู้และวิธีการมาประยุกต์ใช้ในชีวิตประจำวันของตนเองในการเลือกเส้นทางชีวิตได้ ประชากรที่ใช้ในการศึกษานักเรียนชันมัธยมศึกษาปีที่5 ของโรงเรียนหัวหิน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการศึกษา คือแบบสอบถามการวางแผนเลือกศึกษาต่อในระดับอุดมศึกษา การดำเนินงานศึกษาค้นคว้าและเรียบเรียง มีขั้นตอนดังนี้ 1.กำหนดหัวข้อ 2.กำหนดจุดมุ่งหมาย 3.วางโครงเรื่อง 4.ปรึกษาอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษา 5.ตรวจทาน
ผลการศึกษาพบว่า นักเรียนส่วนใหญ่ยังไม่มีการวางแผนและการเตรียมตัวในการตัดสินใจเรียนในระดับอุดมศึกษาอย่างแน่ชัดนัก เนื่องจากยังไม่ทราบความต้องการของตนเองว่าชอบ หรือสนใจสิ่งใด และต้องยังไม่มีเป้าหมายที่แน่ชัดว่าต้องการประสบความสำเร็จแค่ไหน ทั้งนี้ควรจัดกิจกรรมแนะแนวการศึกษาต่อในหลายๆอาชีพ อาทิเช่น การศึกษาในคณะต่างๆของมหาวิทยาลัย และให้กำลังใจให้ผู้ศึกษาสามารถค้นพบตัวเอง และวางแผนจนประสมความสำเร็จได้ในที่สุด
