การศึกษาปัญหา สาเหตุ และแนวทางการแก้ไขปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมในชุมชนบ้านหวาย หมู่ที่ 20
ตำบลนาสีนวน อำเภอกันทรวิชัย จังหวัดมหาสารคาม มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปัญหา สาเหตุ และแนวทางการแก้ไขปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมในชุมชนบ้านหวาย หมู่ที่ 20 ตำบลนาสีนวน อำเภอกันทรวิชัย จังหวัดมหาสารคาม โดยศึกษาจากกลุ่มตัวอย่าง จำนวน 87 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บข้อมูล คือ แบบสอบถาม สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน
ผลการศึกษา พบว่า ปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมที่พบในชุมชนมีทั้งหมด 3 ปัญหา คือ ปัญหาน้ำเสีย เป็นปัญหาที่อยู่ในระดับมาก ซึ่งมีสาเหตุหลักมาจากการปล่อยน้ำเสียจากครัวเรือน (X=4.22) แนวทางการแก้ไขปัญหา คือ จัดให้มีกิจกรรมร่วมกันทำความสะอาดร่องระบายน้ำในหมู่บ้าน รองลงมา คือ ปัญหาดินเสื่อมโทรม เป็นปัญหาที่อยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ซึ่งมีสาเหตุหลัก คือ การใช้สารเคมีกำจัดศัตรูพืชมากเกินไป
(X=4.14) มีแนวทางการแก้ไขปัญหา คือ ควรใช้ปุ๋ยชีวภาพแทนการใช่ปุ๋ยเคมีในการทำการเกษตร และปัญหาสุดท้าย คือ ปัญหาขยะมูลฝอย เป็นปัญหาที่อยู่ในระดับปานกลาง มีสาเหตุมาจากคนในชุมชนส่วนใหญ่ขาดความรู้เรื่องการทิ้งขยะและการนำไปใช้ประโยชน์ (X=3.67) จึงมีแนวทางการแก้ไขปัญหา คือ ควรสนับสนุนให้มีการนำขยะมูลฝอยกลับมาใช้ประโยชน์ เช่น การทำปุ๋ยหมัก
