Keeping an accurate "About me" description on here updated is a challenging task. I've just written whatever I could think so as to give you a chance to build yourself a picture about who I am. Feel free to build on it by asking me about anything at all (I usually answer, and I'm always honest).

Also; I rarely - if ever - answer wall posts from users who do not allow me to view their walls, as this prevents me from seeing what I've previously written, making it extremely hard to keep track on the conversation (read this profile description to get an impression on my style of writing and you will get an idea of why it will be hard to keep track on :S).

And please... I do appreciate you writing, but I'd appreciate it more (and it would certainly increase the probability of me answering) if you wrote more than "Hi wzp dewd" or "Hi there, I'm [name]".

If I'm still not answering, I probably will get back to you as soon as I find time. If not, chances are I've simply accidentally let your message fall into oblivion. Ahoy hoy! I'm Eric. I'm a friendly(-ish, I try!) Swede (nope, not a turnip; I believe I'm a homo sapiens sapiens :3) of Scottish and English descent (50% Swedish, ~25% Scottish and ~25% English, with some of the Scottish being mixed with English and Irish, some of the English being mixed with Dutch, French, and whatnot) residing in central Linköping, Sweden.

I love sports. Especially Hockey (fan of Bruins, Linköping HC, Blues, and Red Wings), Football/Soccer (mainly Newcastle United F.C.) and American Football (Patriots). Also support Celtics and Red Sox though I don't follow them closely, and Swedish national teams in mainly Football and Hockey.

I like reading whenever time is at hand (alas, it seldom is). When I read prose, it's mostly classics. My favourite authors include: Fyodor Dostoevsky, Charles Dickens, William Shakespeare, Franz Kafka, Lord Tennyson, William Wordsworth, Robert Burns, Mark Twain, William Blake, George Eliot, Lev Tolstoy, Daniel Defoe, Oscar Wilde, Thomas Pynchon, August Strindberg, Ernest Hemingway, Edgar Allen Poe, Homer, H.G. Wells, Alexandre Dumas, Jonathan Swift, Jules Verne, Marcel Proust, Jane Austen, Victor Hugo, George Orwell, The Brontë Sisters, Hjalmar Söderberg, Thomas Pynchon, Joseph Conrad, Evelyn Waugh, J.D. Salinger and heaps more... ask!

I also enjoy indulging in fantasy novels by the likes of J.R.R. Tolkien, J.K. Rowling, Philip Pullman, Daniel Simmons, Raymond E. Feist, George R.R. Martin, David Eddings, et cetera).

Another interest I wish I could fuel with more (currently nonexistent) spare time is cinema! I love films, spanning a wide array of genres. Most of my favourite films are those referred to as "classics", and many of them can be found on the IMDB top 250.

My favourite directors include Alfred Hitchcock, Stanley Kubrick, Ingmar Bergman, Woody Allen, Danny Boyle, Hayao Miyazaki, Charlie Chaplin, Quentin Tarantino, Martin Scorsese, Christopher Nolan, Akira Kurosawa, Guy Ritchie, David Fincher, Steven Spielberg, Francis Ford Coppola and Orson Welles.

I also enjoy watching (mostly) British sitcoms, anime series (preferably Japanese audio with English subtitles, of course), documentaries and some TV series from The US and other parts of the world.
