ด้วยนักศึกษาฝึกประสบการณ์วิชาชีพนิเทศศาสตร์ ภาคพิเศษ (เสาร์-อาทิตย์) ภาคเรียนที่ 3/2557 (ภาคฤดูร้อน) คณะวิทยาการจัดการ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่ ได้มีการจัดโครงการธุรกิจจำลอง “ปั่นฝัน ปันน้ำใจ CMRU Ride Charity” ซึ่งจะจัดขึ้น ในวันอาทิตย์ที่ 12 กรกฎาคม 2558 เวลา ๐5.30– 10.00 น. เส้นทางเริ่มจากศูนย์ประชุมและแสดงสินค้านานาชาติฯ จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ ถึงอุทยานหลวงราชพฤกษ์ โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อให้นักศึกษาได้นำความรู้แนวทางทฤษฎีมาประยุกต์ใช้ในทางปฏิบัติเกี่ยวกับกลยุทธ์ ทางด้านนิเทศศาสตร์ การจัดกิจกรรมพิเศษอันเป็นการฝึกฝนกระบวนการคิดแก้ปัญหาในด้านต่างๆ และเป็นการส่งเสริมสุขภาพพลานามัยของผู้เข้าร่วมปั่นจักรยานให้มีสุขภาพแข็งแรงและช่วยอนุรักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อม ตลอดจนรายได้ส่วนหนึ่งหลังหักค่าใช้จ่ายจะนำไปช่วยเหลือเด็กกำพร้า มูลนิธิพรสวรรค์ จังหวัดเชียงใหม่
