โครงการออกแบบและพัฒนาชุดสื่อการเล่านิทานสำหรับเด็กก่อนวัยเรียนจากหุ่นกลไกไม้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาแนวทางการออกแบบและพัฒนาชุดสื่อการเล่านิทานสำหรับเด็กก่อนวัยเรียนจากหุ่นกลไกไม้ และเพื่อออกแบบและพัฒนาชุดสื่อการเล่านิทานสำหรับเด็กก่อนวัยเรียนจากหุ่นกลไกไม้

ผลจากการศึกษาครั้งนี้ทำให้ได้ผลิตภัณฑ์ชุดสื่อการเล่านิทานสำหรับเด็กก่อนวัยเรียนจากหุ่นกลไกไม้ โดยได้มีแนวคิดในเรื่องการเพิ่มความน่าสนใจให้กับการเล่านิทานโดยมีอุปกรณ์ประกอบการเล่านิทานซึ่งสามารถเคลื่อนไหวได้ด้วยกลไกไม้ ประกอบไปด้วย 3 ฉากสำคัญ ซึ่งวัสดุไม้มีความแข็งแรงและมีอายุการใช้งานที่ยาวนาน
ผลจากการประเมินความพึงพอใจกลุ่มครูผู้ดูแลเด็กและผู้ปกครองเด็ก มีความพึงพอใจ ในภาพรวมมีความพึงพอใจอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด ( = 4.55) (S.D. = 0.11) เมื่อพิจารณารายข้อ พบว่า พึงพอใจในด้านรูปแบบของตัวละครมีความสอดคล้องกับเนื้อเรื่องนิทานเด็กเลี้ยงแกะ อยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด ( =4.80) (S.D. = 0.42) และ ด้านรูปแบบของตัวละครมีความเหมาะสมกับนิทานสำหรับเด็ก อยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด ( =4.50) (S.D. = 0.53) ตามลำดับ
