ข้าพเจ้าเป็นคนจังหวัดจันทบุรี มีภูมิลำเนาอยู่ทางภาคตะวันออกของประเทศ ตั้งแต่เล็กจนโต พ่อแม่ก็ไม่ค่อยที่จะได้พาไปท่องเที่ยวในที่ต่างๆมากซักเท่าไร เพราะมีอาชีพเกษตรกรรม ต้องคอยดูสวนผลไม้ซึ่งเป็นอาชีพหลักของครอบครัว แต่เมื่อได้มีโอกาสเข้ามาเรียนมหาลัย ข้าพเจ้าก็มีความรู้สึกที่อยากไปสถานที่ ที่ น่าสนใจ และมีประวัติศาสตร์ที่น่าประทับใจ ซึ่งในปัจจุบันท่ามหาราช เป็นจุดนัดพบแห่งใหม่ตั้งอยู่บนเกาะรัตนโกสินทร์ ซึ่งถือเป็นจุดกำเนิดของกรุงเทพมหานคร เป็นศูนย์กลางการท่องเที่ยว อุดมไปด้วยศิลปะ และมรดกทางวัฒนธรรมของชุมชน แหล่งรวมวัตถุบูชาที่เก่าแก่ที่สุดแห่งหนึ่งในเมืองไทย รวมถึงร้านอาหารอร่อยที่มีประวัติอันยาวนานมากมาย
