การผลิตทางการเกษตรที่ดีและเหมาะสม หรือ Good Agriculture Practices (GAP) หมายถึง แนวทาง
ในการทําการเกษตร เพื่อให้ได้ผลผลิตที่มีคุณภาพดีตรงตามมาตรฐานที่กําหนด ได้ผลผลิตสูงคุ้มค่าการลงทุนและ
กระบวนการผลิตจะต้องปลอดภัยต่อเกษตรกรและผู้บริโภค มีการใช้ทรัพยากรที่เกิดประโยชน์สูงสุด เกิดความ
ยั่งยืนทางการเกษตรและไม่ทําให้เกิดมลพิษต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม โดยหลักการนี้ได้รับการกําหนดโดยองค์การอาหารและ
เกษตรแห่งสหประชาชาติ (FAO) ในประเทศไทยนําหลักเกณฑ์ของ GAP มาประยุกต์ใช้ในปัจจุบัน มีดังนี้

สําหรับประเทศไทย กรมวิชาการเกษตร กระทรวงเกษตรและสหกรณ์ เป็นหน่วยงานที่มีหน้าที่ในการ
