การวิจัยครั้งมีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาระดับคุณภาพชีวิตผู้สูงอายุในเขตเทศบาลเมืองบางมูลนาก เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อคุณภาพชีวิตผู้สูงอายุในเขตเทศบาลเมืองบางมูลนาก และเพื่อศึกษาอิทธิพลของปัจจัยลักษณะส่วนบุคคล, ปัจจัยนำ, ปัจจัยเอื้อ และปัจจัยเสริม ที่มีต่อคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้สูงอายุในเขตเทศบาลเมืองบางมูลนาก อำเภอบางมูลนาก จังหวัดพิจิตร กลุ่มตัวอย่างผู้สูงอายุที่มีอายุตั้งแต่ 60 ปีขึ้นไป ซึ่งอาศัยอยู่ในเขตเทศบาลเมืองบางมูลนาก อำเภอบางมูลนาก จังหวัดพิจิตร จำนวน 294 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้เป็นแบบสอบถามที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้นเอง มีค่าความเที่ยงเท่ากับ .94 สถิติที่ใช้คือ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ และการวิเคราะห์ถดถอยพหุคูณ
สรุปผลการวิจัยพบว่า
1.ข้อมูลปัจจัยลักษณะส่วนบุคคล กลุ่มปัจจัยนำ กลุ่มปัจจัยเอื้อ กลุ่มปัจจัยเสริม และคุณภาพชีวิตผู้สูงอายุ 1)ข้อมูลปัจจัยลักษณะส่วนบุคคล พบว่า ผู้สูงอายุมีอายุอยู่ระหว่าง 60–65 ปี คิดเป็นร้อยละ 40.8 มีรายได้เฉลี่ยต่อเดือน อยู่ระหว่าง 5,001– 10,000 บาท 2)ข้อมูลกลุ่มปัจจัยนำ ในภาพรวมผู้สูงอายุมีระดับปัจจัยนำทั้ง 5 ด้าน ในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง 3)ข้อมูลกลุ่มปัจจัยเอื้อ ในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง 4)ข้อมูลทางปัจจัยเสริม ในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง 5)ระดับคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้สูงอายุ ในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง
2.ผลการวิเคราะห์สัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ภายในระหว่างตัวแปร พบว่า ตัวแปรปัจจัยลักษณะส่วนบุคคล ไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กับตัวแปรคุณภาพชีวิตและการศึกษายังพบว่า ตัวแปรทั้ง 4 ประกอบด้วย คุณภาพชีวิตผู้สูงอายุ ปัจจัยนำ ปัจจัยเอื้อ และปัจจัยเสริมมีความสัมพันธ์กันที่ระดับนัยสำคัญ .05 และเมือศึกษาจากค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ พบว่า คุณภาพชีวิตผู้สูงอายุและปัจจัยนำ มีความสัมพันธ์กันมากที่สุด(r=.582** มีค่าใกล้เคียงกับ 1)และสัมพันธ์ในทางบวก
3.ผลการวิเคราะห์ถดถอยพหุคูณ พบว่า ตัวแปรซึ่งเป็นปัจจัยทั้ง 4 ด้าน คือ ตัวแปรปัจจัยลักษณะส่วนบุคคล ปัจจัยนำ ปัจจัยเอื้อ ปัจจัยเสริม มีความสัมพันธ์กับคุณภาพชีวิตผู้สูงอายุ ร้อยละ 46.60 และผลการศึกษายังพบว่า ตัวแปรที่มีอิทธิพลต่อคุณภาพชีวิตผู้สูงอายุมากที่สุด คือ ตัวแปรปัจจัยนำ รองลงมา คือ ปัจจัยเอื้อ และปัจจัยเสริม ตามลำดับ ส่วนตัวแปรปัจจัยลักษณะส่วนบุคคลไม่มีอิทธิพลต่อคุณภาพชีวิตผู้สูงอายุ
