ทศกาลตินาญังของจังหวัดอิโล อิโล จัด

ทศกาลตินาญังของจังหวัดอิโล อิโล จัดขึ้นทุกวันอาทิตย์ที่สามของเดือนมกราคม มีที่มาจากขบวนแห่รับพระรูปของพระเยซูน้อย (Santo Nino หรือ Child Jesus) ที่บาทหลวงชาวสเปนนำเข้ามาในฟิลิปปินส์หลายร้อยปีมาแล้ว โดยนับถือว่าพระองค์ช่วยขับไล่โจรสลัดซึ่งมักมารุกรานชาวเกาะในสมัยโบราณ ทุกปีชาวเมืองจะแห่พระรูปไปตามถนนในเมือง ต่อมาจึงเปลี่ยนแปลงเป็นการประกวดขบวนแห่และการเต้นรำตามท้องถนน โดยเพิ่มวันงานขึ้นอีก 1 วัน เป็นวันเสาร์ที่สามของเดือนมกราคม เรียกว่า “Kasadyahan” แปลว่า “ความสุข หรือความสนุก”

ขบวนแห่ที่เต้นระบำในวัน Kasadyahan แต่งกายในชุดพื้นเมืองดั้งเดิมทั้งหญิงและชาย แต่ละขบวนเรียกเป็นเผ่า (Tribe หรือ Tribu) แต่ละเผ่ามีการแสดงเป็นเรื่องราวที่เกิดขึ้นจริงในสมัยโบราณ ดนตรีประกอบใช้ดนตรีได้ทุกชนิด ถือเป็นการอุ่นเครื่องก่อนถึงวันจริง วันอาทิตย์ที่สามของเดือนมกราคมจึงจะเป็นตินาญังของจริง ผู้แสดงต้องทาหน้าตาและร่างกายด้วยสีดำหรือน้ำตาลดำ ผู้ชายแต่งกายเป็นนักรบโบราณ มีหมวกขนนกสีสันต่างๆ กัน และถืออาวุธ เช่น หอกหรือธนู ผู้หญิงก็นุ่งกระโปรงหญ้า และทาตัวด้วยสีน้ำตาลดำเช่นกัน ที่สำคัญคือทุกเผ่าจะต้องมีรูปพระเยซูน้อยเป็นสัญลักษณ์
