เป็นที่ตั้งของวัดพนมสวาย มีบันไดก่ออิฐถือปูนขึ้นถึงวัด มีสระน้ำกว้างใหญ่และร่มรื่นด้วยต้นไม้ เป็นที่ประดิษฐานพระพุทธสุรินทรมงคลปางประทานพร ภปร. ยอดที่ 2 มีชื่อว่ายอดเขาหญิง (พนมสรัย) สูงระดับ 228 เมตร ทางวัดได้จัดสร้างพระพุทธรูปองค์ขนาดกลางประดิษฐานไว้ ยอดที่ 3 มีชื่อว่าเขาคอก (พนมกรอล) พุทธสมาคมจังหวัดสุรินทร์ได้จัดสร้างศาลาอัฏฐะมุข เป็นอนุสรณ์ฉลองครบรอบ 200 ปี แห่งการสถาปนากรุงรัตนโกสินทร์เพื่อประดิษฐานพระพุทธบาทจำลอง จากยอดเขาชายมาประดิษฐานไว้ในศาลา โดยเริ่มทำการก่อสร้างตั้งแต่วันที่ 15 ธันวาคม 2524 และสำเร็จบริบูรณ์ในวันที่ 15 กรกฎาคม 2525 ปัจจุบันได้รับการปรับปรุงเป็นวนอุทยานแล้วบรรพบุรุษชาวสุรินทร์ถือว่าเป็นสถานที่แสวงบุญ โดยการเดินทางไปขึ้นยอดเขาในวันขึ้น 1 ค่ำ เดือน 5 ซึ่งเป็นวันหยุดงานตามประเพณีของชาวจังหวัดสุรินทร์มาแต่โบราณกาล

ลักษณะภูมิประเทศ
ประกอบด้วยพื้นที่เป็นหมู่ภูเขาขนาดเล็ก 3 ลูกอยู่ติดกัน ได้แก่ พนมกรอล (เขาหญิง) พนมเปร๊าะ (เขาชาย) และพนมสรัย (เขาคอก) เรียกรวมว่า พนมสวาย พื้นที่ป่าส่วนใหญ่ลาดจากเขาไปทางทิศตะวันออก ส่วนทิศตะวันตกค่อนข้างลาดชัน เป็นภูเขาหินที่ลาดห่างจากเขาด้านล่าง ทิศตะวันออกมีการขุดระเบิดหินเป็นบางส่วน มีทำนบกั้นเป็นอ่างเก็บน้ำ 2 แห่ง อยู่ทางทิศตะวันตกและทิศใต้ นอกจากนี้ยังมีฝายน้ำล้น 1 แห่ง และหนองน้ำธรรมชาติซึ่งมีนกอาศัยอยู่จำนวนมาก

สภาพภูมิอากาศในบริเวณป่าพนมสวายแบ่งออกเป็น 3 ฤดู คือ ฤดูฝน เริ่มตั้งแต่เดือนมิถุนายนถึงพฤศจิกายน ฤดูหนาวเริ่มตั้งแต่เดือนธันวาคมถึงกุมภาพันธ์ ฤดูร้อนเริ่มตั้งแต่เดือนมีนาคมถึงพฤษภาคม

พืชพรรณและสัตว์ป่า
สภาพป่าโดยทั่วไปเป็นป่าเต็งรัง มีพันธุ์ไม้ขึ้นไม่หนาแน่น ต้นไม้มีขนาดเล็กแคระแกร็น มีไม้ขนาดกลางอยู่บ้าง พันธุ์ไม้ที่พบได้แก่ เต็ง รัง ติ้ว แต้ว กราด แดง ชัยพฤกษ์ มะขามป้อม กว้าว ยอป่า มะค่าแต้ ประดู่ เป็นต้น นอกจากนี้ในช่วงเดือนกุมภาพันธ์-เมษายน ต้นหมากหม้อ หรือภาษาเขมรเรียกว่า “ต้นอั๊ดจรู๊ด” จะออดดอกบานสะพรั่ง กระจายในป่าธรรมชาติบริเวณหมู่พนมสวาย

สัตว์ป่าที่พบได้แก่ กระรอก กระต่ายป่า สัตว์ปีกมีบ้างแต่ไม่มากนักได้แก่ นกกระเต็น บ่าง นกกระทาดง นกกวัก นกกระปูด นกกางเขนดง นกเขาหลวง นกกระจิบธรรมดา นกเอี้ยง นกเป็ดน้ำและนกเหยี่ยว
