รายงานวิจัยในชั้นเรียนฉบับนี้ ผู้เสนอ มีวัตถุประสงค์สองประการคือ เพื่อพัฒนาทักษะการอ่าน การเขียนพยัญชนะ และคำศัพท์วิชาภาษาอังกฤษ และเพื่อให้นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 2/2 โรงเรียนเทศบาล (บ้านโนนทัน) ตำบลในเมือง อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดขอนแก่น มีผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการอ่าน การเขียนพยัญชนะ และคำศัพท์วิชาภาษาอังกฤษสูงขึ้น สนับสนุนให้ผู้เรียนเกิดการเรียนรู้ รวมทั้งส่งเสริมให้ครูมีการพัฒนาตนเองอย่างต่อเนื่องสู่ครูมืออาชีพ และเพื่อสอดคล้องกับการปฏิรูปการศึกษาตาม พระราชบัญญัติการศึกษาแห่งชาติ พ.ศ. 2542 และรัฐธรรมนูญแห่งราชอาณาจักรไทย พุทธศักราช 2540 ที่มุ่งให้คนไทยมีความรู้คู่คุณธรรมการพัฒนาการเรียนรู้ของนักเรียน ในกลุ่มทดลองของ นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 2 / 2 ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2558 โรงเรียนเทศบาล (บ้านโนนทัน) ตำบลในเมือง อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดขอนแก่น จำนวน 26 คน สรุปได้ดังนี้
1. พิจารณาจากคะแนนจากการแจกแบบสอบถามทั้งหมด 14 ชุด ก่อน และหลังการทำแบบฝึกทักษะ จากการแก้ปัญหาของนักเรียน 5 คน ที่มีปัญหาในการอ่าน การเขียน พยัญชนะและคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษ ไม่ถูกต้องนั้น หลังจากได้ดำเนินการใช้ชุดฝึกการอ่าน การเขียนทั้ง 14 ชุด พบว่านักเรียน ทุกคนทำแบบ ฝึกหัดได้ถูกต้องมากขึ้น
2. วิเคราะห์ผลการสอบการอ่าน การเขียนที่ถูกต้อง โดยเทียบเกณฑ์การผ่านร้อยละ 100 สามารถอ่านและเขียนพยัญชนะ และคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษได้ถูกต้องมากขึ้นส่งผลให้ผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนในสาระภาษาอังกฤษสูงขึ้น
