การที่มนุษย์มาอยู่รวมกันเป็นกลุ่มเป็นสังคมขึ้นมาย่อมต้องมีความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างสมาชิกของกลุ่มมีระเบียบแบบแผนที่ควบคุมพฤติกรรมของบุคคลในกลุ่มให้อยู่ในขอบเขตที่จะอยู่ร่วมกันอย่างมีความสงบสุข สิ่งที่เป็นเครื่องมือในการควบคุมพฤติกรรมของกลุ่มคนนี้เราเรียกว่า "วัฒนธรรม" ดังนั้น วัฒนธรรมจึงเปรียบเสมือนอาภรณ์ห่อหุ้มร่างกายตกแต่งคนให้น่าดูชม วัฒนธรรมเป็นสิ่งที่ต้องควบคู่กับคนเสมอไป

-พฤติกรรมของมนุษย์ พฤติกรรมของคน จะเป็นเช่นไรก็ขึ้นอยู่กับวัฒนธรรมของกลุ่มสังคมนั้น ๆ เช่น วัฒนธรรมในการพบปะทักทายของ ไทย ใช้ในการสวัสดีของชาวตะวันตกทั่วไปใช้ในการสัมผัสมือ ของชาวทิเบตใช้การแลบลิ้น ของชาว มุสลิมใช้การกล่าวสลาม เป็นต้น
-ด้านอาหาร สังคมการกินอาหารของแต่ละประเทศจึงไม่เหมือนกัน เช่น อาหารประจำชาติไทยคือต้มยำกุ้ง อาหารประจำชาติของญี่ปุ่นคือซูชิ เป็นต้น
-ภาษา เป็นอีกความแตกต่างของแต่ละประเทศมี ซึ่งจะมีภาษาประจำชาติ เช่นประเทศไทยมีภาษาไทยเป็นภาษาประจำชาติ ประเทศอังกฤษมีภาษาอังกฤษเป็นภาษาประจำชาติ
