งามพรรณ เวชชาชีวะ (ชื่อเล่น: เจน) นักเขียน นักแปลผู้มีชื่อเสียง และนักธุรกิจเกี่ยวกับลิขสิทธิ์วรรณกรรม เจ้าของ รางวัลซีไรต์ ประจำปี พ.ศ. 2549 ประเภทนวนิยาย จากงานเขียน "ความสุขของกะทิ" เกิดเมื่อ 27 มกราคม พ.ศ. 2506 ที่กรุงลอนดอน อังกฤษ สหราชอาณาจักร เป็นบุตรีของ ศาสตราจารย์
นายแพทย์ อรรถสิทธิ์ เวชชาชีวะ กับ ศาสตราจารย์แพทย์หญิงสดใส เวชชาชีวะ มีชื่อเล่นว่า เจน เป็นบุตรีคนกลาง มีพี่สาว คือ ศ.พญ.อลิสา วัชรสินธุ ผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านจิตเวชเด็ก และมีน้องชายคือ นายอภิสิทธิ์ เวชชาชีวะ หัวหน้า พรรคประชาธิปัตย์และอดีตนายกรัฐมนตรี คนที่ 27 ของไทย

ประวัติการศึกษา

เริ่มการศึกษาระดับอนุบาลที่ โรงเรียนอนุบาลยุคลธร และศึกษาต่อระดับประถมที่ โรงเรียนกุมารีการุณย์ และโรงเรียนสามมิตร จบการศึกษาะดับมัธยมต้นจาก โรงเรียนสตรีจุลนาค และระดับมัธยมปลายจาก โรงเรียนศรีวิกรม์ จากนั้นได้เข้าศึกษาจนสำเร็จปริญญาตรี สาขาภาษาฝรั่งเศส (เกียรตินิยมอันดับหนึ่ง เหรียญทอง) จาก คณะศิลปศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ภายหลังได้ศึกษาต่อด้านการแปล และได้รับประกาศนียบัตรการแปล (อังกฤษ-ฝรั่งเศส-อิตาลี) จากโรงเรียนล่ามและการแปลของรัฐบาลเบลเยียม ในกรุงบรัสเซลส์

ประวัติการทำงาน
เริ่มทำงานครั้งแรก ที่ บริษัท มีเดียโฟกัส ในตำแหน่งเจ้าหน้าที่การแปล ก่อนจะเป็น เจ้าของและบรรณาธิการนิตยสาร "เพื่อนใหม่" ซึ่งเป็นนิตยสารสำหรับเด็กก่อนวัยรุ่น และปัจจุบันเป็น กรรมการผู้จัดการบริษัท ซิลค์โรด พับลิเชอร์ เอเยนซี จำกัด ซึ่งเป็นบริษัทตัวแทน ลิขสิทธิ์วรรณกรรม ให้กับนักเขียนและสำนักพิมพ์ทั่วโลก นอกจากนี้ยังเป็น ผู้บรรยายพิเศษด้านการแปลและลิขสิทธิ์ ให้กับมหาวิทยาลัยต่างๆ และเป็นกรรมการตัดสิน การประกวดนิทาน และวรรณกรรมเยาวชน
