การแข่งขันประกอบด้วย 4 รอบ คือ The Blind Audition, Battle Phase, The Sing Off และ Live Show โดยในรอบ Blind Audition ผู้เข้าประกวดจะถูกคัดเลือกจากเสียงร้องเพียงอย่างเดียว โดยเหล่าโค้ชจะนั่งหันหลังให้กับผู้เข้าแข่งขันและเมื่อได้ยินเสียงร้องที่ถูกใจ โค้ชจะกดปุ่มเพื่อหมุนเก้าอี้หันหน้ากลับมาหาผู้เข้าแข่งขันเพื่อรับเข้าสู่ทีม

กรณีโค้ชกดปุ่มหันเก้าอี้มาเพียงคนเดียว ผู้เข้าแข่งขันจะเข้าสู่ทีมของโค้ชคนนั้นทันที
กรณีมีโค้ชกดปุ่มหันเก้าอี้มามากกว่า 1 คน สิทธิในการเลือกร่วมทีมจะเป็นของผู้เข้าแข่งขัน
กรณีผู้เข้าแข่งขันร้องเพลงจบ โดยที่ไม่มีโค้ชคนใดหันมา ผู้เข้าแข่งขันจะตกรอบ Blind Audition
เมื่อเหล่าโค้ชได้รวบรวมสมาชิกในทีมแล้ว โค้ชจะคอยเป็นผู้ให้คำปรึกษาด้านการขับร้องแก่ผู้เข้าแข่งขันเพื่อเข้าสู่รอบ Battle Phase ซึ่งในรอบนี้โค้ชจะทำการจับลูกทีมมาประชันในการร้องเพลงเดียวกันและโค้ชจะเป็นผู้ตัดสินเข้ารอบ Sing Off โดยในรอบ Sing Off โค้ชจะให้ลูกทีมที่ชนะมาร้องเพลงที่ตัวเองเคยร้องในรอบ Blind Audition อีกที เพื่อคัดเลือกเข้าในรอบ Live Show โดยในรอบ Live Show ผู้เข้าแข่งขันของแต่ละทีมจะประชันกับผู้เข้าแข่งขันจากทีมอื่นๆ ในการแสดงถ่ายทอดสด โดยผู้ชมทางบ้านจะลงคะแนนโหวตเพื่อเลือกผู้เข้าแข่งขันที่ชื่นชอบให้ผ่านเข้ารอบ และโค้ชเองจะเลือกผู้ที่ผ่านเข้ารอบต่อไปเช่นกัน จนรอบสุดท้ายโค้ชแต่ละคนจะเหลือผู้เข้าแข่งขันเพียงคนเดียว และผลตัดสินสุดท้ายจากการโหวตหลังการแสดงถ่ายทอดสดจะเป็นกำหนดว่าใครคือผู้ชนะ
