2. เป็นศูนย์ศึกษาวิจัยและสาธิตทดสอบวิธีการฟื้นฟูปรับปรุงดินเสื่อมโทรมให้สามารถใช้ประโยชน์ได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ เพื่อเป็นรูปแบบและส่งเสริมอาชีพเกษตรกรที่อยู่ในบริเวณใกล้เคียงกับพื้นที่โครงการฯ ได้เรียนรู้วิธีการจัดการดิน น้ำ และพืช อย่างถูกต้อง มีความยั่งยืน ไม่กระทบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม ซึ่งจะทำให้เกษตรกรมีชีวิตความเป็นอยู่ที่ดีขึ้น
3. เพื่อพัฒนาแหล่งน้ำในเขตพื้นที่โครงการให้เพียงพอกับการอุปโภคบริโภคและทำการเพื่อการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรดิน น้ำ และป่าไม้ ให้คงความอุดมสมบูรณ์ตามธรรมชาติอย่างยั่งยืน
