นางสาวเบญจวรรณ อ่านเปรื่อง ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดตราด มอบเกียรติบัตรให้กับองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น ที่ผ่านการประเมินการปฏิบัติราชการระดับ ดีเด่น ของจังหวัดตราด ประจำปี 2557 จำนวน 6 แห่ง ซึ่งจังหวัดตราด ได้ตั้งคณะกรรมการจากหน่วยงานในระดับจังหวัด (Core Team) ออกประเมินผลการปฏิบัติราชการขององค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่นในทุกพื้นที่ ในระหว่างวันที่ 3 มิถุนายน – 15 กรกฎาคม ที่ผ่านมา
นางประภัสสร ศิริแสงชัย ท้องถิ่นจังหวัดตราด กล่าวว่า การดำเนินการตรวจประเมินการปฏิบัติราชการและนิเทศองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น ประจำปี 2557 ใน 4 ด้าน คือ ด้านการบริหารจัดการ ด้านการบริหารงานบุคคลและกิจการสภา ด้านการบริหารงานการเงินและการคลัง และด้านบริการสาธารณะ ทั้งนี้ผลการตรวจประเมิน ปรากฎว่า องค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่นที่ได้รับคะแนนประเมินทั้ง 4 ด้านดีเด่น 6 แห่ง ได้แก่ อันดับที่ 1 อบต.เกาะกูด ได้คะแนนร้อยละ 89.59 อันดับที่ 2 เทศบาลตำบลเขาสมิง ได้คะแนนร้อยละ 86.85 อันดับที่ 3 เทศบาลตำบลหาดเล็ก ได้คะแนนร้อยละ86.39 อันดัยที่ 4 เทศบาลตำบลแหลมงอบ ได้คะแนนร้อยละ 85.66 อันดับที่ 5 อบต.เขาสมิง ได้คะแนนร้อยละ 83.97 และอันดับที่ 6 อบต.บางปิด ได้คะแนนร้อยละ 83.97 จึงได้จัดให้มีการมอบเกียรติบัตรยกย่ององค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่นในครั้งนี้ อย่างไรก็ตามจาการลงพื้นที่ตรวจประเมินผลองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่นในครั้งนี้พบว้าองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่นในจังหวัดตราดทุกแห่งมีผลการประเมินเกินกว่าร้อยละ 60
