เชียงใหม่ จะมีงาน ญี่เป็ง จัดที่ธุดงคสถาน ข้างมหาวิทยาลัยแม่โจ้ และริมน้ำปิงในตัวเมืองเชียงใหม่ จังหวัดตาก มีการลอยกระทงสาย จังหวัดสุโขทัย ขบวนแห่โคมชักโคมแขวน การเล่นพลุตะไลไฟพะเนียง นครพนม หนองคาย มีการไหลเรือไฟ ตามแม่น้ำโขง กรุงเทพ จัดงาน ภูเขาทอง ที่วัดภูเขาทอง กรุงเทพฯ 7-10 วันกันเลยทีเดียวครับ ทางภาคใต้นั้น ที่หาดใหญ่จะมีการจัดงานวันลอยกระทงอย่างยิ่งใหญ่ไม่แพ้ภาคอื่นครับ

วิธีทํากระทงใบตอง

4. จากนั้นประดับด้วยดอกไม้ตามความชอบ และปักธูปเทียนลงไป เป็นอันเสร็จ
