งานวิจัยนี้เป็นการศึกษาและปรับปรุงกระบวนการผลิตในการเชื่อมแบบจุดของชิ้นงาน STAY,EXHAUST MAIMFOLD เพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในกระบวนการผลิต โดยได้มีการนำหุ่นยนต์เข้ามาช่วยในการผลิต จากการศึกษาและเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลสภาพกระบวนการผลิตในปัจจุบันพบปัญหารอบเวลาในการผลิตชิ้นงานมากกว่ารอบเวลาเป้าหมายในการผลิต ทำให้ต้องมีการทำงานการทำงานล่วงเวลาของพนักงาน ส่งผลให้ต้องมีค่าใช้จ่ายเพิ่มขึ้นจากการทำงานล่วงเวลาของพนักงาน เพื่อที่จะสามารถผลิตงานส่งได้ทันตรงตามเป้าหมายที่ลูกค้ากำหนด อีกทั้งยังเสี่ยงต่อการเกิดอุบัติเหตุในการทำงานของพนักงานอีกด้วย เพื่อแก้ปัญหาดังกล่าวจึงได้ทำการวิเคราะห์หาแนวทางในการแก้ไขปัญหา พบว่าการนำหุ่นยนต์เข้ามาช่วยในการผลิตสามารถลดรอบเวลาในการผลิตลงได้ 21.63 วินาทีต่อชิ้น หรือคิดเป็น 42.73 เปอร์เซ็นต์ และกำลังในการผลิตเพิ่มขึ้น 53.06 ชิ้นต่อชั่วโมง หรือคิดเป็น 74.61 เปอร์เซ็นต์ โดยที่จุดคุ้มทุนในการลงทุนของโครงการอยู่ที่ 2 ปี และสามารถเพิ่มรายได้ในการผลิตตลอดอายุการผลิตชิ้นงานได้ถึง 1,129,895.19 บาทต่อแปดปี หรือคิดเป็น 28.28%
