บริษัท อินเทอร์เน็ตประเทศไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) (“บริษัทฯ”) เป็นบริษัทมหาชน ซึ่งจัดตั้งและมีภูมิลำเนาอยู่ในประเทศไทย บริษัทฯจดทะเบียนในตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทยเมื่อวันที่ 14 พฤศจิกายน 2544 และประกอบกิจการในการให้บริการด้านโทรคมนาคมซึ่งรวมทั้งการให้บริการเชื่อมต่ออินเทอร์เน็ต ที่อยู่ตามที่จดทะเบียนของบริษัทฯอยู่ที่เลขที่ 1768 อาคารไทยซัมมิท ทาวเวอร์ ชั้น 10 - 12 และชั้นไอที ถนนเพชรบุรีตัดใหม่ แขวงบางกะปิ เขตห้วยขวาง กรุงเทพมหานคร
2. เกณฑ์ในการจัดทำงบการเงินระหว่างกาล
งบการเงินระหว่างกาลนี้จัดทำขึ้นในรูปแบบย่อและตามมาตรฐานการบัญชีไทย ฉบับที่ 34 (ปรับปรุง 2552) เรื่อง งบการเงินระหว่างกาล รวมถึงแนวปฏิบัติทางการบัญชีที่ประกาศใช้โดยสภาวิชาชีพบัญชี ฯ (“สภาวิชาชีพบัญชี”)
งบการเงินระหว่างกาลของบริษัทได้จัดทำเป็นภาษาไทย และมีหน่วยเงินตราเป็นบาท ซึ่งการจัดทำงบการเงินระหว่างกาลดังกล่าวเป็นไปตามวัตถุประสงค์ของการจัดทำรายงานในประเทศ ดังนั้นเพื่อความสะดวกของผู้อ่านงบการเงินที่ไม่คุ้นเคยกับภาษาไทย บริษัทได้จัดทำงบการเงินระหว่างกาลฉบับภาษาอังกฤษขึ้นโดยแปลจากงบการเงินระหว่างกาลฉบับภาษาไทย
นอกจากที่ได้กล่าวไว้ในหมายเหตุประกอบงบการเงินประจำปีและงบการเงินระหว่างกาล รายการอื่น ๆ ในงบการเงินระหว่างกาลนี้จัดทำขึ้นโดยใช้เกณฑ์ราคาทุน
งบการเงินระหว่างกาลนี้จัดทำขึ้นเพื่อให้ข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมจากงบการเงินสำหรับปีสิ้นสุดวันที่ 31 ธันวาคม 2555 โดยเน้นการให้ข้อมูลที่เป็นปัจจุบันเกี่ยวกับกิจกรรม เหตุการณ์และสถานการณ์ใหม่ ๆ เพื่อไม่ให้ข้อมูลที่นำเสนอซ้ำซ้อนกับข้อมูลที่ได้รายงานไปแล้ว ดังนั้น งบการเงินระหว่างกาลนี้ควรต้องอ่านควบคู่กับงบการเงินสำหรับปีสิ้นสุดวันที่ 31 ธันวาคม 2555

เกณฑ์ในการจัดทำงบการเงินรวม
งบการเงินรวมระหว่างกาลได้จัดทำขึ้นโดยรวมงบการเงินของบริษัท อินเทอร์เน็ตประเทศไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) และบริษัทย่อยและได้จัดทำขึ้นโดยใช้หลักเกณฑ์เดียวกับงบการเงินรวมสำหรับปีสิ้นสุดวันที่ 31 ธันวาคม 2555 โดยไม่มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงโครงสร้างการถือหุ้นในบริษัทย่อยในระหว่างงวด
