วนอุทยานน้ำตกธารงาม วนอุทยานน้ำตกธารงาม ตั้งอยู่ในเขตพื้นที่ป่าขุนห้วยสามทาก ขุนห้วยกองสี ตำบลหนองแสง มีพื้นที่ทั่งหมดประมาณ ๗๘,๑๒๕ ไร่ ประกาศเป็นวนอุทยานเมื่อวันที่ ๑๙ ธันวาคม ๒๕๒๗ ลักษณะสภาพพื้นที่ของวนอุทยานฯ เป็นภูเขาสูงชัน และเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของเทือกเขาภูพาน เป็นแหล่งต้นน้ำลำธารที่ไหลลงสู่ห้วยสามทาก-ห้วยน้ำฆ้องตลอดปี

จุดเด่นที่น่าสนใจภายในวนอุทยานฯ มีหน้าผา ถ้ำที่สวยงาม และมีลานหิน หรือที่ชาวบ้านเรียกว่า “แหล” เป็นแหลขนาดใหญ่ เนื้อที่กว้างขวาง มีก้อนหินใหญ่ตั้งวางเรียงราย และซ้อนกันอยู่ และที่จุดนี้สามารถมองเห็นวิวทัศน์ที่อยู่เบื้องล่างได้ พรรณไม้ที่พบเห็นได้แก่ ประดู่ นนทรี ยาง กระบะตะเคียนทอง ตะเคียงเงิน และสัตว์ป่าที่พบได้แก่ หมู่ป่า กระจง ค่าง อีเห็น

การเดินทาง ไปวนอุทยานน้ำตกธารงามอยู่ห่างจากอำเภอหนองแสงประมาณ ๖ กิโลเมตร สามารถใช้เส้นทางในการเดินทางได้ ๓ เส้นทาง ได้แก่

เส้นทางแรก จากอุดรธานี-บ้านเหล่า-โคกลาด-อำเภอหนองแสง ระยะทางประมาณ ๓๕ กิโลเมตร
