หรือในนามภาษาจีนว่า ต้า ผู่ อี่ ได้เริ่มก่อสร้างเมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2531 โดยอาจารย์สง่า กุลกอบเกียรติ ได้รับพระราชทานพระราชานุญาตให้ก่อสร้างขึ้นในบริเวณโครงการพระราชดำริวัดญาณสังวราราม บนพื้นที่ประมาณ 7 ไร่ ในการดำเนินงานได้รับพระมหากรุณาธิคุณโปรดเกล้าฯ พระราชทานฤกษ์ในการก่อสร้าง เมื่อวันที่ 6 มิถุนายน พ.ศ. 2531 กับทรงพระกรุณาธิคุณโปรดเกล้าฯ พระราชทานนามอาคารนี้ว่า "อเนกกุศลศาลา" รวมค่าใช้จ่ายในการก่อสร้างประมาณ 200 กว่าล้านบาท ซึ่งได้รับจากการร่วมใจของคณะผู้มีจิตศรัทธาและบรรดาญาติมิตร ทั้งนี้ โดยมีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อที่จะได้ อเนกกุศลศาลา เป็นถาวรวัตถุที่ชาวไทยเชื้อสายจีนที่ได้รับเข้ามาพึ่งพระบรมโพธิสมภารร่วมใจน้อมเกล้าฯ ถวายแด่พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว และสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าพระบรมราชินีนาถ การก่อสร้างใช้เวลาทั้งสิ้นประมาณ 4 ปีครึ่ง จึงแล้วเสร็จโดยสมบูรณ์ พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวทรงพระกรุณาโปรดเกล้าฯ เสด็จพระราชดำเนินทรงเปิด อเนกกุศลศาลา เมื่อวันที่ 24 ธันวาคม พ.ศ. 2536 การเดินทางไปวิหารเซียน จากกรุงเทพฯ ใช้เส้นทางถนนสุขุมวิท (ทางหลวงหมายเลข 3) ถึงกม.ที่ 160 มีป้ายแยกซ้ายไปวัดญาณสังวรารามวรมหาวิหาร เลี้ยวขวาเข้าไปประมาณ5 กม. ก่อนถึงวัดญาณฯ จะมีป้ายบอกทางแยกขวาไปวิหารเซียน ซึ่งจะเห็นอาคารสถาปัตยกรรมจีนโดดเด่นสวยงามมาก
