ประเพณีเวียนเทียนกลางน้ำ วัดติโลกอาราม จังหวัดพะเยา
“ใจกลางกว๊านพะเยา ซากโบราณสถาน ซึ่งเป็นที่ตั้งของวัดติโลกอาราม ที่สร้างขึ้นในสมัยพระเจ้าติโลกราช แห่งอาณาจักรล้านนา ได้ปรากฏเค้าโครงแห่งการบูรณะ และก่อร่างรูปแบบประเพณีปฏิบัติของพุทธศาสนิกชน ในประเพณีเวียนเทียนกลางน้ำ ทุกวันสำคัญทางพระพุทธศาสนา”
ประเพณีเวียนเทียนที่วัดติโลกอาราม มีความแตกต่างจากการเวียนเทียนในวัดอื่นๆ คือ วัดติโลกอารามจะเวียนเทียนโดยการนั่งเรือเวียนเทียนรอบวัดซึ่งตั้งอยู่กลางน้ำ โดยในแต่ละปีจะมีการเวียนเทียน ๓ ครั้ง คือ วันมาฆบูชา วันวิสาขบูชา และวันอาสาฬหบูชา
