2. ช่วงปัจจุบัน พบว่ากลุ่มตัวอย่างส่วนใหญ่มีรายได้ 10,000-14,999 บาท และมีเงินออม พักอาศัยอยู่กับญาติ พี่น้อง และเช่าอพาร์ตเม้นต์ ประมาณร้อยละ 30 โดยค่าเช่าอยู่ที่ 2,000-4,000 บาท
3. ช่วงอนาคต พบว่ากลุ่มตัวอย่างวางแผนในการซื้อที่อยู่อาศัยเป็นของตนเองในช่วง 2-5 ปีมากที่สุด โดยต้องการซื้อบ้านในเขต กทม.และปริมณฑลมากกว่า ร้อยละ 50 จากผลการศึกษาพบว่ากลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ย้ายภูมิลาเนามาจากต่างจังหวัดมายัง กทม. เพื่อการศึกษาและทางานผู้ที่ไม่มีญาติพี่น้องใน กทม. มักนิยมเช่าอพาร์ตเม้นต์พักอาศัย โดยเลือกทำเลที่ตั้งที่ใกล้สถานศึกษาและที่ทางาน เพื่อความสะดวกในการเดินทาง และราคาค่าเช่า ที่เหมาะสมกับรายได้เป็นปัจจัยหลักในการพิจารณาตัดสินใจ
