งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1.เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลในการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษ 2.เพื่อศึกษาสภาพปัญหาการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษ 3.เพื่อศึกษาสื่อการเรียนการสอนภาษาอังกฤษ
4.เพื่อศึกษาถึงผลกระทบในการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษ นักศึกษาที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นนักศึกษาแท้ที่ศึกษาอยู่สาขารัฐประศาสนศาสตร์ หมู่ 3 ปี 4 ภาคปกติ คณะรัฐศาสตร์ ปีการศึกษา 2558 มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏชัยภูมิ จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 40 คน โดยในงานวิจัยครั้งนี้ได้กำหนดขนาดกลุ่มตัวอย่างโดยวิธีการเปิดตารางสำเร็จของเครซี่และมอร์แกน (Krejcie and Morgan) จากจำนวนนักศึกษาสาขารัฐประศาสนศาสตร์ หมู่ 3 ปี 4 ภาคปกติ คณะรัฐศาสตร์ ปีการศึกษา 2558 มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏชัยภูมิ มีจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 40 คน ได้กลุ่มตัวอย่าง 36 คน และใช้วิธีการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเฉพาะเจาะจงหรือความง่ายในการเก็บข้อมูลกับใครก็ได้ที่อยู่ในขณะที่ผู้วิจัยกำลังเก็บขัอมูล เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยในครั้งนี้ เป็นแบบสอบ (Questionnaire) ที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้นจากการศึกษาเอกสารและงานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้อง ซึ่งมีลักษณะเป็นคำถามแบบปลายปิด แบ่งออกเป็น 2 ส่วนดังนี้
ตอนที่ 1 ข้อมูลทั่วไปของผู้ตอบแบบสอบถาม จำนวน 2 ข้อ
ตอนที่ 2 คำถามเกี่ยวกับปัญหาการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษของนักศึกษาสาขารัฐประศาสนศาสตร์ หมู่ 3 ปี 4 ภาคปกติ คณะรัฐศาสตร์ ปีการศึกษา 2558 มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏชัยภูมิ จำนวน 10 ข้อ
ใช่ คือ เป็นปัญหาการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษของนักศึกษา
ไม่ใช่ คือ ไม่เป็นปัญหาการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษของนักศึกษา
ผลของการวิจัยพบว่าการวิจัยในครั้งนี้จากการตอบแบบสอบถามของกลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นไปตามสมมุติฐานข้อที่ 1,2,3,4
ดังนั้น การวิจัยเกี่ยวกับปัญหาการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษของนักศึกษา สาขารัฐประศาสนศาสตร์ หมู่ 3 ปี 4 ภาคปกติ คณะรัฐศาสตร์ ปีการศึกษา 2558 มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏชัยภูมิ เกิดจาก
1.ปัญหาจากการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษน่าจะเกิดจากไม่ใช้ภาษาท้องถิ่นที่เราใช้คิดเป็นร้อยละ 63.9%
2. ปัญหาจากการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษน่าจะเกิดจากครูสอนไม่ตรงจุด คิดเป็นร้อยละ 53.8%
3. ปัญหาจากการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษน่าจะเกิดจากคำศัพท์เยอะ อยากต่อการจดจำ คิดเป็นร้อยละ 66.7%
4. ปัญหาจากการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษน่าจะเกิดจากการออกสำเนียงไม่ถูกต้อง คิดเป็นร้อยละ 75.0%
