ทางกลุ่มผู้จัดทำได้ตระหนักถึงปัญหาในข้อนี้ จึงได้ปรึกษาหารือกันและได้ข้อสรุปออกมาเป็นการจัดทำโครงงานเพื่อการรับบริจาคหนังสือใช้แล้วที่มีสภาพดีหรือหนังสือใหม่ทุกประเภท รวมถึงรับบริจาคปฏิทินตั้งโต๊ะเพื่อนำไปบริจาคให้การทำหนังสืออักษรเบรลล์เพื่อผู้พิการทางสายตา การบริจาคนี้มีเป้าหมายเป็นกลุ่มเด็กและเยาวชนเป็นหลัก ซึ่งมีทั้งเด็กปกติและเด็กที่เป็นผู้พิการทางสายตาด้วยเช่นกัน โดยมีการประสานงานกับมูลนิธิกระจกเงาในการบริจาคหนังสือ และได้รับความอนุเคราะห์จากทางวิทยาลัยราชสุดา มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ในการทำหนังสืออักษรเบรลล์ การดำเนินการในขั้นแรกได้มีการจัดทำกล่องรับบริจาคเป็นจำนวน 7 ใบ นำไปวางรับบริจาคตามจุดต่างๆ ภายในมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล วิทยาเขตศาลายา ดังนี้ หอพักนักศึกษาชายและหญิง ใต้ตึกคณะต่างๆ และอาคารศูนย์การเรียนรู้(MLC) เปิดรับบริจาคในวันที่ 22 ธันวาคม พ.ศ.2557 ทางผู้รับบริจาคปลายทางนั้นมีสามที่ด้วยกัน คือ มูลนิธิกระจกเงา โรงเรียนวัดประเสริฐสุทธาวาส และโรงเรียนสอนคนตาบอดกรุงเทพ นอกจากการจัดรับบริจาคหนังสือแล้ว ทางกลุ่มได้มีการแต่งนิทานสั้นเพื่อนำไปจัดกิจกรรมส่งเสริมการอ่านให้กับนักเรียนโรงเรียนวัดประเสริฐสุทธาวาส รวมถึงได้นำนิทานสั้นดังกล่าวไปตีพิมพ์เป็นหนังสืออักษรเบรลล์ เพื่อนำไปบริจาคให้กับเด็กผู้พิการทางสายตา โดยได้รับความอนุเคราะห์จากวิทยาลัยราชสุดาดังที่ได้กล่าวถึงแล้วในเบื้องต้น ปิดรับการบริจาคหนังสือในวันที่ 13 กุมภาพันธ์ พ.ศ.2558 รวมได้หนังสือทั้งสิ้น 281 เล่ม และปฏิทิน 15 เล่ม เมื่อนำหนังสือมาจัดจำแนกตามประเภท พบว่า หนังสือคู่มือแบบเรียนมีจำนวน 87 เล่ม นวนิยาย/เรื่องสั้น 79 เล่ม หนังสือสำหรับเด็ก 45 เล่ม หนังสือการ์ตูน 39 เล่ม หนังสือความรู้ทั่วไป 17 เล่ม และหนังสือภาษาอังกฤษ/คู่มือ 14 เล่ม ในด้านการประเมินผลสัมฤทธิ์ของโครงงานนั้น ทางกลุ่มผู้จัดทำได้ให้ทางผู้รับปลายทางมีส่วนช่วยในการประเมิน เช่น หนังสือที่บริจาคมีประโยชน์มากน้อยเพียงใด ตรงตามความต้องการหรือไม่ เป็นต้น และประมวลผลจำนวนหนังสือแยกตามประเภทเป็นร้อยละ เพื่อทราบถึงความต้องการประเภทหนังสือของแต่ละสถานที่ ด้านปฏิทินที่บริจาคไปสำหรับทำหนังสืออักษรเบรลล์นั้น ให้ทางโรงเรียนสอนคนตาบอดกรุงเทพซึ่งเป็นผู้รับปลายทาง ประเมินว่าปฏิทินที่บริจาคไปนั้นมีประสิทธิภาพในการใช้งานหรือไม่ อย่างไร
