Although I consider myself a romant

Although I consider myself a romantic person I know it is unrealistic to believe romance alone can carry a devoted relationship completely.
Hopefully the two of us can work together to make a life for each other. Among other things, that might mean sharing ideas, plans, responsibilities, dream together, inspire one another, as well as being able to have one's own and give space to the other.
The world is a real place, so pragmatism is important. Yet, a life entirely subservient to fulfilling basic needs is mondane, morbid and empty to me.
A waking life is awed by the mysteries of nature and finds in them a source of inspiration, grace or humility.
The world is astonishing and complex. True meaning often can only be read in-between the lines.
Even though they say that "actions speak louder than words", words do have power and constitute our main vehicle of communication.
Verbal exchange can open a doorway to love. It also helps to affirm our grasp of reality as we can shape a mutually experienced reality by talking with
one another.
Sometimes I love to just roam around the city aimlessly, without a goal or expectation in mind and It turns an unmarked day into an adventure.
So, all in all a rich life doesn't really involve money as much as it does meaning. Money is very abstract, actually, more so even then art.
In my case, what I am after is pursuing art as much as I can. that means mostly at night these days, since I do have a professional life as well. I work in IT.
And I really like my job a lot too! Beyond that, I like to read or look at art or listen to excellent music, just enjoy the moment and contemplate, guess, play, feel happy and on and on and on.

Also, very important. I am seeking employment in Thailand. I am not sure how to do this and would appreciate any ideas or suggestions that would bring me closer to achieving that. (I speak German and English, have a MFA and 11 years of working experience in software development.
