ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ คือเพื่อศึกษาและเปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน
วิชาคณิตศาสตร์ ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 ที่เรียนโดยการเรียนแบบร่วมมือแบ่งผลสัมฤทธิ์(STAD) เสริมด้วยกลวิธี STAR ที่มีต่อผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ระหว่างก่อนเรียนและหลังเรียน กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 โรงเรียนบ้านดุงวิทยา อำเภอบ้านดุง จังหวัดอุดรธานี จำนวน 1 ห้องเรียน จำนวน 45 คน ซึ่งได้จากการสุ่มแบบกลุ่ม (cluster random sampling) เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้วิชาคณิตศาสตร์ เรื่อง สมบัติของเลขยกกำลัง จำนวน 9 แผน แบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้ค่าเฉลี่ย ร้อยละ ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการทดสอบค่าทีแบบไม่อิสระ ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้
1. นักเรียนมีผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนหลังเรียนกับเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 75 พบว่า ผู้เรียนได้คะแนนเฉลี่ยผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนหลังเรียน เท่ากับ 15.07 คิดเป็นร้อยละ 75.03 เมื่อเทียบกับเกณฑ์ ร้อยละ 75 ผลปรากฎว่า ผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนหลังเรียนไม่ต่ำกว่าเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 75
2. นักเรียนมีผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ก่อนเรียนกับหลังเรียน พบว่าผู้เรียนได้คะแนนเฉลี่ยผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนก่อนเรียน เท่ากับ 5.11 คิดเป็นร้อยละ 25.55 และผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนหลังเรียน เท่ากับ 15.07 คิดเป็นร้อยละ 75.03 เมื่อเปรียบเทียบกันด้วยการทดสอบทีแบบไม่อิสระ ผลปรากฎว่า ผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนหลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียน
