โครงงานนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อออกแบบและสร้างเครื่องผลิตถ่านอัดแท่งชีวมวล และเพื่อหาประสิทธิภาพของเครื่องผลิตถ่านอัดแท่งชีวมวล โดยมีวิธีการดำเนินงาน ดังนี้ 1. ศึกษาขั้นตอนการผลิตถ่าน ก่อนปรับปรุงโดยใช้เครื่องผลิตถ่านอัดแท่งชีวมวล 2. วิเคราะห์ปัญหาที่พบในขณะทำการผลิตถ่าน 3. ดำเนินการสร้างอุปกรณ์หรือเครื่องเข้ามาช่วยในการผลิตถ่าน 4. ปรับปรุงวิธีการผลิตถ่านแบบเดิม 5.เเปรียบเทียบเวลาในการผลิตถ่านระหว่างคนกับเครื่องผลิตถ่านอัดแท่งชีวมวล 6. เปรียบเทียบระยะเวลาในการให้ความร้อนและความหนาแน่นของถ่านชีวมวล
