- ใช้ทางหลวงหมายเลข 1 (พหลโยธิน) จนถึงจังหวัดสระบุรี แล้วแยกใช้ทางหลวงหมายเลข 2 (มิตรภาพ) จนถึงอำเภอสีคิ้ว แยกซ้ายเข้าสู่ทางหลวงหมายเลข 201 ผ่านอำเภอด่านขุนทด อำเภอจัตุรัส จังหวัดชัยภูมิ อำเภอแก้งคร้อ อำเภอภูเขียว อำเภอชุมแพ อำเภอภูกระดึง อำเภอหนองหิน อำเภอวังสะพุง จนถึงจังหวัดเลย
