ด้านเขตพื้นที่เศรษฐกิจ นิคมอุตสาหกรรมก็ "เอาไม่อยู่" เช่นกัน ต่างได้รับผลกระทบจาก "น้องน้ำ" จำนวนมาก จนทำให้หลายโรงงานต้องปิดลง หรือแม้กระทั่งต้องทำลายสินค้า ยกตัวอย่าง ที่โรงงานรถยนต์ฮอนด้า ในสวนอุตสาหกรรมโรจนะ จังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยาถูก "น้องน้ำ" ทลายท่วมท้นอย่างหนัก จนสร้างความเสียหายให้กับรถยนต์ที่จอดรอส่งมอบลูกค้า และเพื่อสร้างความมั่นใจให้ลูกค้า บริษัทก็ได้มีพิธีทำลายรถยนต์ที่เสียหายจากน้ำท่วมทั้งหมด 1,055 คัน ส่งผลให้บริษัทแม่ที่ประเทศญี่ปุ่นต้องหยุดผลิต นอกจากนี้ น้องน้ำ ยังไหลเข้าท่วมเขตพื้นที่เศรษฐกิจโรงงานอีกมากมาย ทั้งนิคมอุตสาหกรรมไฮเทค นิคมอุตสาหกรรมบางปะอิน และนิคมอุตสาหกรรมนวนคร เป็นต้น
