การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษาสภาพปัจจุบัน ปัญหาการเรียนการสอนคณิตศาสตร์ ตั้งแต่อดีตจนถึงปัจจุบัน เรื่องการพัฒนาทักษะการคิดวิเคราะห์ เรื่อง การคูณ โดยใช้เซียมซีเลขโดดและตารางแสนกล สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 เพื่อออกแบบและพัฒนาที่เหมาะสมกับผู้เรียนเซียมซีเลขโดดและตารางแสนกล สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 และ เพื่อประเมินทักษะการคิดวิเคราะห์ เรื่อง การคูณ สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่3
