บทคัดย่อ
โครงงานวิทยาศาสตร์ เรื่อง การศึกษาประสิทธิภาพของพืชรสขมที่มีความสามารถในการป้อง กันแมลงกัดกินดอกกุหลาบ มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาประสิทธิภาพของพืชรสขมในการป้องกันแมลงกัดกินดอกกุหลาบ โดยศึกษาจากพืชรสขมที่ต่างชนิดกันสามชนิดคือ สะเดา ขี้เหล็ก และมะระขี้นก นำมาสกัดเอาสารแทนนิน ซึงเป็นสารที่ป้องกันแมลง มาผสมกับน้ำ ในอัตราส่วน สารแทนนินเข้มข้นจากพืชรสขมแต่ละชนิดทั้งสามชนิด ปริมาณห้าส่วน ต่อน้ำ สองส่วน ใส่ลงในกระบอบฉีดขนาดเล็กจำนวนสามกระบอก โดยแต่ละกระบอกจะมีสารแทนนินของพืชรสขมแต่ละชนิดได้แก่ สารแทนนินของสะเดา สารแทนนินของขี้เหล็ก และสารแทนนินของมะระขี้นก จากนั้นนำไปฉีดต้นกุหลาบทั้งสามต้นโดยฉีดแต่ละกระบอกต้นใครต้นมัน เพื่อทราบข้อมูลและประสิทธิภาพในการป้องกันแมลงกัดกินดอกกุหลาบของพืชรสขมแต่ละชนิด โดยเก็บข้อมูลและทำการสังเกตุ ในช่วงเวลาห้าวัน
ผลการศึกษา พบว่า ต้นกุหลาบที่ฉีดด้วยสารแทนนินที่สกัดจากใบสะเดา สามารถป้องกันแมลงได้ดีกว่า ต้นกุหลาบที่ฉีดด้วยสารแทนนินที่สกัดจากขี้เหล็ก และฉีดด้วยสารแทนนินที่สกัดจากมะระขี้นกสรุป สารแทนนินที่สกัดมาจากพืชรสขมประเภทสะเดา มีประสิทธิภาพในการป้องกันแมลงกัดกินดอกกุหลาบได้ดีที่สุด
