The ability to listen is one of the key skills in learning foreign languages. In spite of the importance of listening skills has been neglected in the acquisition of foreign language teaching, research and evaluation. A research on the issue, little listening L2 / F1 learning experience to learn to listen to English in the classroom. This study sought to examine the issue found by listening to a group of first year students at Qassim University English major 60 people who took a course in 20011/12 to be recruited for the study. The data collected by means of questionnaires and interviews. The study showed that the speed of speech, accent, pronunciation, vocabulary inadequate accents of different speakers, lack of concentration, anxiety and poor quality of the recording is hearing important. EFL learners across Saudi Arabia Learning problems may help students understand the EFL teacher to help students develop effective learning strategies and can eventually improve their English listening. Suggestions are made for trouble on how teachers can help their students overcome problems listening comprehension. The results of this study may also be useful for those who are interested in this field.
