In this study โปรโตคอลที่พัฒนาขึ้นสามารถตรวจพิสูจน์ดีเอ็นเอจากตัวอย่างวัตถุพยานทางชีวภาพทั้งสามประเภท (เลือด อสุจิ และน้ำลาย) ได้สำเร็จ ซึ่งพบว่าชุดน้ำยาทดสอบเบื้องต้นบางชนิดมีผลกระทบต่อการจัดทำลายพิมพ์ดีเอ็นเอ รวมถึงพื้นผิววัสดุที่ต่างกันก็สามารถมีผลกระทบต่อลายพิมพ์ดีเอ็นเอที่ได้รับเช่นกัน
จากการทดลองพบว่าชุดน้ำยาทดสอบเลือดเบื้องต้นที่ไม่มีผลกระทบต่อการจัดทำลายพิมพ์ดีเอ็นเอ คือ ลูมินอล Hemastic LMG และ KM ตามลำดับ
