ระยะแรกเกษตรกรก่อตั้งกลุ่มเพาะเห็ดเศรษฐกิจ สมาชิก 4 ราย
ดำเนินการเพาะเห็ดนางฟ้า เพื่อส่งจำหน่ายตลาดในท้องถิ่น
ปัจจุบันกลุ่มเพาะเห็ดมีสมาชิก 10 ราย ทำการเพาะเห็ด ยานางิ
เนื่องจากให้ผลตอบแทนสูงกว่า มีรายได้เฉลี่ยประมาณ 6,000 บาท/เดือน
นอกจากนี้กลุ่มยังเป็นสถานที่ศึกษาดูงานและฝึกปฏิบัติการเพาะเห็ด
แก่เกษตรกรผู้สนใจงานวิชาการเกษตรศูนย์ฯได้ดำเนินโครงการ
เพื่อสนับสนุนงานอาหารกลางวัน โดยการให้โรงเรียนในพื้นที่ศูนย์ฯ และนอกพื้นที่
ที่มีความสนใจ นำนักเรียนเข้าฝึกปฏิบัติทำก้อนเชื้อเห็ดและนำก้อนเห็ด
ที่ได้กลับไปเปิดดอกที่โรงเรียนเพื่อเป็นอาหารกลางวันและ
ยังเป็นการเพิ่มทักษะวิชาชีพแก่นักเรียน เห็ด เป็นอาหารที่รู้จักกันมานาน
