การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) เพื่อศึกษาการปรับตัวของวิสาหกิจชุมชน อำเภอแม่สอด จังหวัดตาก ภายใต้บริบทนโยบายเขตพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจพิเศษตาก โดยใช้เครื่องมือในการเก็บข้อมูลจากการตรวจเอกสารและวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้การวิเคราะห์เชิงเนื้อหา จากการศึกษางานวิจัยและเอกสารที่เกี่ยวข้องทำให้ได้ข้อค้นพบว่า การบริหารการพัฒนาวิสาหกิจชุมชนจะประสบความสำเร็จได้จำเป็นต้องมีปัจจัยหลายๆด้านที่มาสนับสนุน ไม่ว่าจะเป็นปัจจัยภายในและภายนอก เช่น ปัจจัยด้านคน ปัจจัยด้านการเงิน ปัจจัยด้านวัตถุดิบ ปัจจัยด้านการบริหารจัดการ ปัจจัยด้านเทคโนโลยี/นวัตกรรม ปัจจัยด้านการผลิต ปัจจัยด้านการตลาด เข้ามาสนับสนุนการทำวิสาหกิจชุมชน สิ่งเหล่านี้จะทำให้วิสาหกิจชุมชนสามารถที่จะแข่งขันตลาดอื่นๆได้และจะนำไปสู่การเป็นวิสาหกิจชุมชนอย่างยั่งยืน
