พ.ศ. 2304 อายุ 25 ปีในสมัยสมเด็จพระที่นั่งสุริยาสอมรินทร์ ได้รับการแต่งตั้งเป็นหลวงยกบัตรเมืองราชบุรี
พ.ศ. 2311 ในสมัยพระเจ้าตากสิน ได้รับราชการมีฐานันดรศักดิ์เป็น พระราชวรินทร์ ( กรมพระตำรวจหลวง )

5. สถาปนาเจ้าฟ้าสุพันธุวงศ์ โอรสของพระเจ้าตากสินอันเกิดจากพระราชธิดาองค์ใหญ่ของรัชกาลที่ 1 ซึ่งมีพระนามเดิมว่า ( ฉิมใหญ่ ) ขึ้นเป็น เจ้าฟ้ากรมขุนกระษัตรานุชิต
นอกจากนี้ยังได้โปรดให้สถาปนา สมเด็จพระพี่นางเธอ สมเด็จพระเจ้าน้องญาเธอ สมเด็จพระเจ้าลูกเธอ
สมเด็จพระเจ้าหลานเธอ ขึ้นเป็นเจ้าต่างกรม ตั้งแต่กรมหมื่น จนถึงกรมพระอีก รวมหลายพระองค์ด้วยกัน
