“Mum” is the name of a famous local Chaiyaphum dish. Nowadays, it is made of either beef or pork mixed with liver, garlic and salt. The mixture is then grounded and put in the animal’s stomach. This is a local way of processing food which can be kept for three months. It is popular both in and outside Chaiyaphum especially in the Northeast. People also buy this as a first-class souvenir.
