โครงงานเรื่องเปิดตำนานวัดเจดีย์หอยมีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาประวัติความเป็นมาของวัดเจดีย์หอย ความเป็นมาของเจดีย์หอย และความเป็นมาของพิพิธภัณฑ์ของเก่าโบราณ
วิธีการดำเนินงานโครงงานในครั้งนี้ใช้วิธีการศึกษาค้นคว้า สำรวจสถานที่ต่างๆในวัดเจดีย์หอย แล้วนำมาเขียนรายงานในรูปแบบของโครงงาน
