จังหวัดอ่างทองมีแหล่งท่องเที่ยวที่สําคัญทั้งด้านประวัติศาสตร์โบราณสถาน และ ศาสนสถาน และแหล่ง
ท่องเที่ยวตามธรรมชาติหลายแห่ง ได้แก่
8.1 แหล่งท่องเที่ยวด้านประวัติศาสตร์โบราณสถาน และศาสนสถาน
7.1.1 วัดไชโยวรวิหาร ตั้งอยู่ที่ตําบลไชโย อําเภอไชโย เป็นที่
ประดิษฐานพระมหาพุทธพิมพ์หรือที่เรียกว่า “หลวงพ่อโต” เป็นพระพุทธรูป

ไชโย” พระเครื่องที่สร้างโดยสมเด็จพระพุฒาจารย์ (โต พรหมรังสี) ซึ่งเปี่ยมไป
ด้วยพุทธคุณนานัปการ
8.1.2 วัดขุนอินทประมูล ตั้งอยู่ที่ตําบลอินทประมูล อําเภอ
โพธิ์ทอง เป็นที่ประดิษฐานพระพุทธไสยาสน์ที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในประเทศไทย
