ข้าพเจ้าไม่เคยลืมภาพพระราชกรณียกิจเหล่านี้เลย พระองค์คือแรงบันดาลใจให้ข้าพเจ้าคิดที่จะพัฒนาตนเองให้ดีกว่านี้เพื่อจะสามารถพัฒนาประเทศชาติได้ในอนาคต พระองค์ไม่มีอิทธิฤทธิ์ปาฎิหาริย์ที่จะดลบันดาลสิ่งใดได้ แต่พระองค์ทรงมีพระอัจฉริยภาพ มีความเอาใจใส่ ช่างสังเกต ข้าพเจ้าคิดเสมอว่า "ไม่มีใครเก่งมาได้ตั้งแต่เกิด" พระองค์ยังต้องศึกษาเล่าเรียน ฝึกฝนความคิด กว่าจะมาเป็นนักพัฒนาที่ดีของปวงชนได้ แล้วข้าพเจ้าเป็นใครเล่า หากข้าพเจ้าไม่พยายามศึกษาค้นคว้าหาความรู้ให้กับตัวเอง แล้วข้าพเจ้าจะมีความสามารถอะไรไปพัฒนาประเทศได้

พระองค์ยังไม่สนพระทัยกับความเหน็ดเหนื่อย และหยาดเหงื่อที่ไหลออกมา พระองค์ไม่ทรงกลัวความยากลำบาก แล้วเหตุใดข้าพเจ้าจึงจะต้องแสวงหาแต่ความสุขสบาย สิ่งที่พระองค์สนพระทัยคือชีวิตที่ดีกว่าของปวงชน ภายใต้ร่มพระบารมีและสิ่งเดียวที่ข้าพเจ้าสนใจ ก็คือการพัฒนาตนเองให้มีคุณภาพที่ดีกว่านี้ เพื่อที่ว่าจะสามารถทำประโยชน์ตอบแทนแผ่นดินเกิดของข้าพเจ้าได้ในอนาคต ข้าพเจ้าไม่ใช่คนร่ำรวย ดังนั้นสิ่งเดียวที่ข้าพเจ้าจะสามารถให้แผ่นดินนี้ได้ ก็คือการเป็นพลเมืองที่มีประสิทธิภาพ และไม่เป็นภาระต่อสังคม

และในวันพฤหัสบดีที่ 13 กันยายน ค.ศ.2016 พระองค์ก็ได้เสด็จสวรรคตในเวลา 15:52 นาที รัฐบาลประกาศให้สถานที่ราชการ รัฐวิสาหกิจ หน่วยงานของรัฐและสถานศึกษาทุกแห่ง ลดธงครึ่งเสา 30 วัน และให้ข้าราชการ พนักงานรัฐวิสาหกิจ เจ้าหน้าที่รัฐ ไว้ทุกข์ 1 ปี ตั้งแต่วันที่ 14 ตุลาคม 2559 เหตุการณ์นี้สร้างความเสียใจเป็นอย่างมากให้แก่ปวงชนชาวไทย ข้าพเจ้าไม่อยากจะเชื่อเลยว่าวันนี้จะมาถึง ถึงอย่างนั้น การเกิด แก่ เจ็บ ตายเป็นเรื่องธรรมชาติ พระเจ้าอยู่หัวของเราทรงเสด็จกลับสวรรคาลัยไปแล้ว ข้าพเจ้าขอสัญญาว่าจะประพฤติตนให้เป็นพลเมืองดีของชาติ จะขอเป็นข้ารองพระบาททุกชาติไป
