ทั้งนี้ ศูนย์วิจัยกสิกรไทยคาดว่าในปี 2556 ผู้โดยสารที่เดินทางมายังท่าอากาศยานสุวรรณภูมิและท่าอากาศยานดอนเมืองจะมีจำนวนรวมทั้งสิ้น 65.2-70.0 ล้านคน ขยายตัวร้อยละ 11-18 เมื่อเทียบกับปีที่ผ่านมา
