โครงงานวิทยาศาสตร์ เรื่อง การศึกษาน้ำหมักชีวภาพที่มีส่วนผสมของน้ำยาล้างจานเพื่อใช้กำจัดเพลี้ยแป้งมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อต้องการลดการใช้สารเคมีในการกำจัดเพลี้ยแป้งและต้องการช่วยชาวบ้านที่เจอกับปัญหาเพลี้ยละบาด มีวิธีการทดลองคือ ใช้น้ำหมักชีวภาพจากเปลือกไข่ และส่วนผสมอื่นๆคือ พริกแห้ง เกลือแกงและน้ำซาวข้าว โดยมีสารช่วยติดนั่นคือ น้ำยาล้างจาน ซึ่งหาได้ในครัวเรือน นำมาทดสอบในปริมาตรต่างๆนั่นคือ ใช้น้ำ 100%, น้ำยาล้างจาน 10% น้ำ 90%, น้ำหมักชีวภาพ 100% และน้ำยาล้างจาน 10% น้ำหมักชีวภาพ 90% เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการกำจัดเพลี้ยแป้ง ผลการทดลองพบว่าเมื่อนำสารในปริมาตรต่างๆที่เตรียมมาพ่นใส่กับเพลี้ยแป้งที่อยู่ในน้อยหน่า ดังจะเห็นได้ว่า น้ำยาล้างจานที่ผสมกับน้ำหมักสามารถกำจัดเพลี้ยได้ดีที่สุด เพราะการที่เราใช้น้ำหมัก100%พ่นใส่เพลี้ยแล้ว น้ำหมักที่พ่นไม่ติดกับตัวเพลี้ยทำให้เพลี้ยสามารถเดินหนีไปได้ แต่เมื่อเราผสมน้ำหมักกับน้ำยาล้างจาน ซึ่งในน้ำยาล้างจานมีสารช่วยในการติด ทำให้น้ำหมักติดกับตัวเพลี้ยได้ และสามารถกำจัดเพลี้ยให้ตายได้
